On or about 8-28-09 the two pictured suspects entered the "Carousel Drive-in" and stole several hundred dollars from the business.    The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying these two men for questioning in the reported rape of a 16-year-old in on 8-19-09 at 2100 hours. On April 30, 2009 at approximately 0330, the suspect pictured above robbed the 7-11 at North Chester Avenue and Day Street at gunpoint.  Approximately one hour later, the same suspect robbed the Fastrip at Airport Drive and Decatur Street in Oildale, at gunpoint.  The photographs above were captured by store surveillance cameras.

On April 7th, 2009, Iron Industries reported a trailer and 500amp Towalbe (Lincoln/K2405) welding machine stolen from a job site at East High School in Bakersfield.  Sheriff's Detectives are seeking to identify the person pictured on the left.  The trailer and welder pictured on the right, are the items that were taken.  The truck was recently purchased and has 'Three-Way Chevrolet' paper plates.

On October 24th, 2008, at about 9:15 PM, Victor Gonzalez was shot and killed in front of the business located at 2101 Niles Street in East Bakersfield. Gonzalez was driving a black and brown colored 1989 Chevrolet Blazer that was parked inside a car wash bay next to the business.

Several witnesses saw three Hispanic males in their 20’s chasing and attacking Gonzalez as he ran down Niles Street. The suspects were all described as wearing dark colored sweatshirts with the hoods covering their heads.

The Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in this case. If anyone has information regarding this case they are asked to call detective Kavin Brewer at 661-391-7657 or the secret witness hotline at 661-322-4040.

On 07/15/1980 the body of an unidentified female was found deceased in an orchard near Zerker Road and Merced Avenue near Delano. The unidentified female was the victim of a stabbing. The victim was an American Indian or Hispanic female 30-35 years old at the time, 5'4", 115 pounds. Her first name may have been Rebecca or Becky and she may have worked picking apples at one time. The female also had tattoos on her left arm. One was the tattoo of a heart with the name "Shirley" inside with "Seattle" below it. The other was a rose tattoo with "Mother" "I love you".
